Nicole Lim, J.D. (Pinoleville-Pomo)

Executive Director, Community Relations

Ms. Lim has more than 14 years of experience in implementing community outreach programs in California on behalf of diverse cultures and communities. She received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

A former assistant professor of ethnic studies in the Native American program at Sacramento State University, she has lectured at San Francisco State and Sonoma State universities. Ms. Lim has directed numerous private, federal and state grants including a National Fetal Alcohol Syndrome project funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

She also serves as a national trainer for the National Indian Justice Center, teaching diverse topics related to the administration of justice in Indian Country, including Juvenile Delinquency and Gang Violence Prevention, Native American Graves and Cultural Property Protection and Repatriation, and Federal Indian Law.

Ms. Lim is the current executive director of the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center, where her priorities include design development, capital campaign management, exhibit and curricula creation, and tribal museum strategic partnership advancement.
